Apple has completely shifted to a Type-C port. It was from the iPhone 15 series that Apple launched the Type-C port and since then, every product launched will come with a Type-C port. The pressure of the European Union made Apple take this decision. Now the news is that Apple is discontinuing its 3.5mm jack adapter.

It was for all those iPhones and Apple products that had a Lightning port, and thus a 3.5mm jack adapter was launched that could connect the 3.5 mm headphone jack with a Lightning port. All the 3.5mm jack adapters were removed from Apple's store.

Now it is also showing sold out on the Apple India site. The 3.5mm headphone jack is also not available for purchase on any other e-commerce site. Apple introduced the 3.5mm headphone jack alongside the iPhone 7 in 2016. Later, it started to come inside the box of the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and iPhone X variants too. Its price was kept at Rs 900 on the Apple store.
