4 new and affordable variants of Kia Sonet launched with Sunroof, know the new prices here
After recently updating the Carens and Seltos lineup, new variants have also been added to the Sonet. The carmaker has introduced new features in these variants to provide more value to the customers. The electric sunroof feature has been added to these variants at a price that is the most affordable among any SUV in its segment.
Kia India has updated the lineup of its Sonet sub-compact SUV by introducing 4 new variants. The Korean auto giant has added two new entry-level and mid-level variants to the SUV launched three months ago.
These new models, which go by the names HTE(O) and HTK(O), are available with diesel and petrol engines. These versions start at Rs 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom), which is roughly Rs 19,000 more expensive than the sub-compact SUV's entry-level models.
New variations have been added to Sonet in addition to the recent updates to the Carens and Seltos lineup. To give customers more value, the automaker added new features to these variants. These models now come with an electric sunroof, which is the most economical addition of any SUV in its class.

Apart from the sunroof, Kia has also equipped the HTK (O) variant with LED-connected taillights, automatic climate control and rear defogger features. Kia has also expanded the feature list on variants like the GTX+ and HTX+. These variants now have the feature of controlling all windows from the driver's seat. The HTE and HTK variants now have more exterior colour options including Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue and Pewter Olive.
The HTE(O) and HTK(O) variants will be available with both a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5 CRDi diesel unit. Its petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces 81 bhp power and 115 Nm peak torque. The diesel engine can generate power of 114 bhp and peak torque of 250 Nm. It comes with three options of gearbox, which include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed AT unit.
