Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch its most powerful Pulsar on May 3. Before the arrival of the new Pulsar in the Indian market, the brand started releasing new teasers. The new motorcycle will be called Bajaj Pulsar NS400, which means it will be in the NS range of motorcycles, which is Pulsar's sportier lineup.
The latest teaser of the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS400 suggests that the motorcycle will come with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system safety feature. However, it will also have ABS modes – Rain, Road, and Off/On. Talking about ABS, braking duties will be handled by discs at both ends.
Another thing that is revealed from the teaser is the upside-down forks at the front. Bajaj is gradually updating all the Pulsar ranges to have USD forks at the front. USD forks provide a more composed ride to the motorcycle. Bajaj will also provide traction control with Pulsar NS400.
One thing that can be noticed in the teaser is the use of faux carbon finish on the body panels. The headlamps of the Pulsar NS400 will be somewhat similar to the Pulsar NS200. However, some changes will be made to the elements to make the motorcycle more aggressive.
It will feature a completely new digital instrument cluster, similar to the one seen in the just-released Pulsar. Notifications and call management can also be displayed on the instrument cluster. A USB port is also present for charging mobile devices. Real-time updates on fuel consumption, average fuel economy, and gear positioning are available in the new cluster.
The engine that Bajaj will use for the next NS400 is still unknown. This could be the 373 cc engine from the 390 Duke from the previous generation, which powers the Dominar 400. The brand will also be redesigning the new 399 cc engine that debuted with the 390 Duke generation.
