According to the letter, in addition to cricket, Imran Khan also served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Regardless of political views, he has the honor of being democratically elected to his country's highest office. It further states, "Recent reports about his health, particularly the worrying reports of his vision fading during detention and the prison conditions over the past two and a half years, have deeply troubled us. As fellow cricketers, we understand the values ​​of fair play and respect. We believe that a person of Imran Khan's stature should be treated with the dignity and humane treatment befitting a former national leader and a global sports gem."

The appeal to Shahbaz Sharif reads, "We respectfully urge the Government of Pakistan to ensure that Imran Khan receives prompt and appropriate medical care from specialists of his choice. He is provided with humane and respectful conditions in prison in accordance with international standards, including regular visits from family members and the right to a fair and transparent legal process without delay."

The emotional appeal concludes, "Cricket has always been a bridge between nations. Our shared history on the field reminds us that a match ends with the stumps being drawn, but respect endures.
