Maruti Suzuki has released its first electric car eVitara's teaser. This electric compact SUV will be launched at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Maruti is already known for its dominant hold in the ICE-powered, CNG, and hybrid car segments in the Indian market. Now it is going to bring its electric car into the Indian market. The Maruti e Vitara made its first appearance in Milan, Italy. Now its teaser has been revealed. In which its front fascia can be seen. Along with this, its headlamps can also be seen. Maruti Suzuki may launch its first electric car at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, to be held from January 11 to January 22, 2025.
It features 18-inch black-out alloy wheels, prominent body cladding, and unconventional C-pillar-mounted rear door handles. Sleek LED tail lights with light signatures similar to DRLs, shark fin antenna, and roof-mounted spoiler have been provided at the rear, which completes its look.
It gets a new premium design with dual-tone theme and dual integrated screens for infotainment and digital driver display. Also, it has a modern dashboard layout. Additionally, vertical AC vents and a sporty two-spoke steering wheel can also be seen in the e-Vitara.
The Maruti's first electric car gets features like automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, head-up display, wireless phone charger, and connected car technology. Apart from this, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and level-2 ADAS will be provided. This can be the first car of Maruti in which the ADAS feature can be found.
Maruti has not revealed yet what battery pack is going to be available in the Maruti eVitara available in the Indian market. Along with this, its range is also yet to be revealed, but it is expected that it can come with a range of up to 600 km.
The Maruti Suzuki eVitara might be displayed at Auto Expo 2025. It may come to the Indian markets a few days after the showcase. Its price in India could be up to Rs 20 lakh.
