The duo of Indian players Lakshya Sen and Tanvi Sharma would be representing India's fight in the Super 300 tournament of the US Open starting from Tuesday. There are many other Indian players competing in the singles competitions, such as Kidambi Srikanth in men's singles. Overall, there would be a total of seven Indian players in the women's singles competition.

Lakshya is seeded second in the tournament and ranked 14th in the world. He will be facing Belgium's Julien Carraggi in his first-round match after an early exit in the first round of the Indonesia Open last month. On the other hand, Srikanth will be playing against Chinese Taipei's Liao Jhuo-Fu in his first men's singles match.

Another Indian player, Sanith Dayanand, will begin his campaign against Japan's fourth-seeded Yudai Okimoto. S. Sankar Muthusamy Subramanian has also secured a spot in the main draw and will face a qualifier. In the women's singles, fifth-seeded Tanvi Sharma and sixth-seeded Devika Sihag will aim to deliver their best performances; they are ranked 32nd and 34th in the world, respectively. Seventeen-year-old Tanvi will play her first match against Germany's Yvonne Li, while Devika will face Peru's Ines Lucia Castillo Salazar.
