West Indies vs Pakistan 1st Test: Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat in the first match of the two-Test series against the West Indies. This is the Babar Azam-led team's eighth consecutive defeat abroad.
The West Indies won the game against Pakistan late on Tuesday evening. For the West Indies team, it is only the second victory in the past 11 matches whereas for Pakistan, it was an eighth consecutive defeat overseas. The match was played at Brian Lara stadium and the West Indies team performed brilliantly winning by 90 runs. Thus, the Caribbean side has secured a 1-0 lead in this two-match series. Pakistan managed only 120 in the second innings being chased 211.
Pakistan made a poor start in pursuit of the target. Awan Azan made 3 runs before getting out whereas Imran-ul-Haq also got dismissed for 3 runs by Kemar Roach. Salman Agha could not even make any runs out to Jayden Seales. Mohammad Rizwan managed 11 runs from 28 balls and got dismissed whereas Aamir Jamal got out for 0 runs in 12 balls.
