Renault Kwid EV has recently been spotted during testing. Earlier also Kwid EV was been spotted during testing. In view of this, it is expected that it may be launched in India soon. When launched in India, it will compete with vehicles like Tata Punch EV Citroen eC3, and MG Comet.

Renault is preparing to bring its first electric car. Renault's first electric car is going to be the Renault Kwid EV. On which the company is working fast. Along with this, the company has started its testing. It has been spotted recently during testing, which has revealed some of its features. Let us know what features it is going to come with.

Now, a Renault Kwid EV model was spotted testing in which the front LED DRLs seemed quite like the new generation Duster. The charging port at the front side of the vehicle can also be seen. Coming to other things, it has a split headlamp setup, closed-off grille, single wiper, and rugged bumper design. The side profile features square wheel arches, door-side trims, and conventional door handles. Apart from this, at the rear, the Renault Kwid EV gets a rear wiper, integrated spoiler, shark fin antenna, and pointed tail lamps.

The Renault Kwid EV will come kitted with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch instrument cluster. Other features will include a minimalistic center console, a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, circular AC vents, a stubby gear lever, contrasting white highlights, and a dual-tone interior theme.

Other safety features shall include electronic stability control, hill start assist, driver attention alert, front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera with a tire pressure monitoring system, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, emergency braking system, and ADAS.

There are two examples of the Renault Kwid EV being sold in foreign markets. The top variant gets a 26.8 kWh battery pack which, when applied, makes 65 hp at 113 Nm. Its range is 225 km, and this car accelerates from naught to 100 km/h in as short as 13.7 seconds. Going by the way the testing of Renault Kwid EV is underway, there are huge expectations that it can finally make its entry into the Indian Markets very soon. It will be an entry-level electric vehicle segment. Its price in India can start at Rs. 11 lakh.
