A huge development in the renewable energy infrastructure of India, ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has managed to commission the first phase of its 300 MW solar energy project in Rajasthan. This 66.68 MW first phase was commissioned on September 12, 2026, thus marking a significant step for the company that deals in clean energy production.

The recently commissioned solar energy plant, which has been commissioned by its subsidiary firm, ACME Renewtech Private Limited, is situated in Kelan village, Chhattargarh tehsil, Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The date of commercial operation (COD) for this 66.68 MW first phase has been fixed as September 14, 2026. Once fully functional, the Bikaner power plant, having an installed capacity of 300 MW, will further help in enhancing the firm’s presence in one of the most energy-rich states of India in terms of solar power production.

The company, established in 2015, has quickly emerged to be one of the largest IPPs in India and among the top 10 renewable energy firms in India by operational capacity. The company has a diversified portfolio of solar, wind, hybrid, and FDRE projects in 10 states of India.
