Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mr. Mukesh Ambani, in his address to the India AI Impact Summit, stated that just like Internet data, now Artificial Intelligence (AI) will also be made available to the common Indian at affordable rates.

He stated that India will not rent its intelligence and that Jio will bring India into the intelligence era after the internet era. AI will not take away jobs, but it will create new opportunities in high-skilled jobs. In this regard, Jio and Reliance Industries will invest Rs 10 lakh crore in the next seven years.

Ambani said that this investment will be made with the aim of creating a strong AI infrastructure in India and ensuring economic strength for the coming decades. The company is developing a multi-gigawatt AI-ready data center park in Jamnagar in a phased manner. The target is to commission 120 MW capacity by the end of 2026, which will be further expanded to the gigawatt level.

This entire system will operate based on green energy. Moreover, the entire computing capacity will be provided across the country through the Jio network. This will allow the reach of AI services to people, shops, schools, hospitals, and even farms. Ambani said that Jio AI will work in Indian languages ​​so that farmers, youth, students, and small businessmen can take advantage of it in their own language.
