A major accident was averted at Anakapalli railway station in Andhra Pradesh. It is being told that a passenger at the railway station narrowly escaped being trapped between the platform and the train while trying to board the Janmabhoomi Express. The train was preparing to depart when suddenly all the passengers present there were terrified by this incident.

A major accident was averted at Anakapalli railway station in Andhra Pradesh. It has been reported that a passenger attempting to board the Janmabhoomi Express at the railway station just escaped becoming caught between the platform and the train. As the train was about to leave, all of the passengers were instantly frightened by what happened.

After this, the victim became stuck in a very poor state, so railway staff hurried to help him. In order to safely remove the passenger, the officials had to break through the platform's concrete floor, which was a very difficult task.

After this, the injured passenger was taken to NTR Hospital for immediate medical treatment. More information is awaited about their condition. Also, a police investigation has been started to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Earlier, a major rail accident took place in Andhra Pradesh. A freight train derailed between Thadi and Anakapalle railway stations in Anakapalli district here. This also had a huge impact on the movement of trains on the railway line. Also, many trains have been canceled and one train has been rescheduled.

According to the information, the coal-laden goods train derailed at around 3.35 am. After this accident, South Central Railway has canceled six trains.

Earlier today, a major rail accident has happened in Nalpur, Kolkata, West Bengal today i.e. on 9 November 2024. Three coaches of the express train coming from Secunderabad to Shalimar have derailed. There is no news of anyone being injured in this incident yet. The three coaches of the Secunderabad-Shalimar Express that have derailed in this incident include a parcel van and two others. 10 buses have been arranged for the onward journey of the affected passengers.
