New feature is coming in YouTube, creators will be happy
Usually, the option of custom thumbnail is available with the videos uploaded on YouTube, but the option of custom thumbnail is not available in the playlist. After the new update, any photo can be used for a thumbnail in a YouTube playlist.
It seems like YouTube is cooking up some features; soon, content creators will be overjoyed. Shortly, YouTube is going to release a big update, after which users will have the facility to choose a custom thumbnail for any playlist of the channel. No facility to choose a custom thumbnail is there as of now.
According to a report, YouTube is testing this feature, and will soon be released to all users. This feature was visible in the APK file of Android devices. It is under test on the beta version.
A report by Android Authority said that custom thumbnail code was spotted in the beta version 9.26.33 of the Android app. The code gives information relating to the size of custom thumbnails for playlists. Usually, there will be an option for custom thumbnails with the videos uploaded on YouTube. Still, this is not the case in playlists. Now, after the new update, any photo can be used for thumbnails in YouTube playlists.
