The Election Commission said in its statement, "Today, some political parties proceeded towards the Election Commission. During this, it came to our notice through the media that some MPs accompanied by their delegation wish to meet the Commission."

Concerning today's developments, it is made clear here that no political party has requested to meet the Election Commission through its representatives till 4 pm today.
