Recently the new Maruti Swift was spotted running tests on Delhi roads. Now, the hybrid logo and ADAS suite have also been spotted in Swift. While it looks almost similar in design to its current Swift brothers, it can be spied in a shining back color. Allow us to inform you about all such features that the Maruti Swift has sported, which were on test runs.

A hybrid badge has been spotted in the testing Maruti Swift. According to a report by Ruslane, a slightly sportier front and rear bumper is seen in the Swift Hybrid. It has been given more black elements to reduce the visual bulk. Its front bumper has a silver finish. A radar module is also seen on its front grille, which is the main attraction. Talking about the side panel, it gets the same alloy wheel design as the global Swift. Apart from this, a disc brake has been given at the rear, which is offered only in the Japanese-spec model. At the same time, a rear disc brake is not offered in the Swift Hybrid sold in Australia.

Compared to the India-spec model, the Japanese-spec model offers an ADAS feature, which further increases the safety of the passenger during driving. Along with this, an add-on electronic parking brake and heated seat options are also offered there. The Japanese-spec model is given a hybrid 1.2L Z12E powertrain, which gets CVT gearbox mild-hybrid technology. Hybrid technology helps in reducing fuel consumption with the help of the ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) motor, which draws power from a battery.

Fuel efficiency improves a lot when vehicles have hybrid technology. Suzuki Swift claims to give a mileage of 24.5 km/liter with a hybrid. The Japanese-spec model Swift Hybrid, it is claimed to give a mileage of 20.8 km/liter in urban areas, 24.8 km/liter in suburban areas, and 26.3 km/liter in expressway areas. Maruti Swift sold in India without hybrid technology claims to give a mileage of up to 25.75 km/liter with AMT.
