India is currently the world's largest mobile market. India sells phones from every company in the world, and many of those companies also manufacture their phones there. The Indian Computer Response Team (CERT-In) has alerted users of smartphones worldwide to a serious threat. The government has sent out an alert to Android users. According to the alert, certain Android device chipsets have a serious vulnerability that hackers can use to hack your phone at any time.

Users of Android smartphones have been alerted by a cyber security agency to dangers for which Google and Qualcomm have just released security updates. In addition, Samsung has issued a security patch to address nine flaws in its phones.

CERT-In has said in the advisory that there are flaws in many parts of the Android operating system which include Framework, System, AMLogic, Arm component, MediaTek component, Qualcomm component, and Qualcomm closed source component. Users of Android 12, 12L, 13 and 14 are affected by these flaws.

CERT-In has said that to avoid these flaws, you should update your phone or tab immediately, because brands have also released security patches. In such a situation, not updating the device would be careless and the security of the phone would be in danger.
