While the company hasn't given any official information for it, the carmaker is preparing Jeep Compass Facelift and Jeep Meridian Facelift for the domestic market, which could arrive during the festive season.
The Jeep Meridian sells as a seven-seater SUV manufactured by Jeep. The design of the SUV is reportedly going to face some change while some new features may also be equipped in it. The bumper, fog lamp, and front grill of the SUV can also witness changes while some features including ADAS are able to offer in it. Changes in the engine of the SUV are highly unlikely.
Jeep sells the Compass as its most affordable SUV. According to the recent report by Jagran, this SUV will also get a mid-life update. Ofcourse, in the facelift avatar, the Compass gets a new 1.3 turbo petrol engine. In addition to this, some of the engine options of Meridian can also be given in it. From beyond this, some other features can also be updated in the SUV.
According to Jagran, both these SUVs can be launched during the festive season. First, the Facelift version of the Jeep Compass will be brought. As per expectations, it can be launched in the month of September itself. After Compass, the facelift version of Meridian can be launched by October.
Compass is offered by Jeep in the mid-size SUV segment. In the market, it competes directly with SUVs like the Tata Harrier, Safari, JSW MG Hector, and Mahindra XUV 700. At the same time, Jeep Meridian is brought in the full-size SUV segment and competes with SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, and JSW MG Gloster.
