Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's post on social media platform X, Musk said, "It was an honour for me to talk to PM Modi." Along with this, he wrote, "I am very excited to come to India later this year!"
This statement of Elon Musk came after the conversation he had with Prime Minister Modi. Actually, this conversation between the two took place while re-recalling the issues raised during the first face-to-face meeting in Washington, DC.
PM Modi posted on Instagram and said, "Talked to Elon Musk and discussed a number of issues, including those we discussed during our meeting in Washington, DC this year."
The Prime Minister further said, "We discussed the immense possibilities of cooperation in the field of technology and innovation. India is committed to further strengthening its relations with the US in this direction."
Prime Minister Modi and Elon Musk first met in February, when PM Modi visited the US on a two-day state visit. At that time, both of them expressed hope for increasing cooperation in the future in emerging areas like electric vehicles, renewable energy, and space.
During this meeting, PM Modi also gifted books to Elon Musk's three children. These included Rabindranath Tagore's The Crescent Moon, The Great RK Narayan Collection, and Pandit Vishnu Sharma's Panchatantra. Later, the Prime Minister also shared some pictures of the children reading the books.
This latest conversation between PM Modi and Elon Musk has taken place at a time when Starlink is facing a delay in getting security clearance in India. Apart from this, talks are also going on between India and America regarding the proposed bilateral trade agreement. In such a situation, the contact between the two leaders is being considered very important.
