A user had asked Google's AI chat tool Gemini whether Narendra Modi is a fascist? In response to this question, Gemini said, 'Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India and the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has been accused of implementing such policies. Some experts have called it fascist. These allegations are based on many aspects. This also includes the Hindu nationalist ideology of the BJP.
Google Gemini has also been accused of bias since it labelled Modi as a fascist, but it did not provide a clear response when the same question was asked about former US President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine.
On X, this Gemini response has been shared. In response to this post, Rajiv Chandrashekhar stated that numerous sections of the Criminal Code as well as Rule 3(1)(b) of the Intermediaries Rules of the IT Act (IT Rules) are being violated.
