In addition to enhancing its device-finding facility, Google also gave its name a makeover. Previously its name was Find My Device, now it has been renamed Find Hub. Now the ambit of this service is broadened, earlier it used to display the location of the missing phone or tablet.

Even after the company attempted removing ambiguity with its new nomenclature, Android consumers continue to struggle with third-party trackers. That is intended to compete head-on with Apple's AirTags. Previously, Google's Find My Device service was intended to locate missing Android phones, tabs or watches.

Now Google changed and upgraded it over time and added features including location sharing and an external tracker. Its old name does not reveal anything about its complete scope as a new service. In such a case, its company changed its name to Find Hub. This reveals that it is able to monitor numerous devices.

Compared to AirTag, Android users are still struggling in terms of trackers. Google may have strengthened the tracking network, but users are still reporting many flaws. The biggest problem among them is that it is not able to show real time data to the user.

Google has included many new features in Find Hub. These include Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, which offers accurate tracking to users. Along with this, Android users can now track Motorola's Moto with the help of UWB. Along with this, Google is also planning to offer satellite connectivity by the end of 2025.

There is news about Find Hub that the company will separate device tracking and location sharing. With this, the company will be able to manage both well and users will be able to get accurate information in real time.
