Spain has enlisted the services of Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz in its team to compete for the Davis Cup Finals to be held in Malaga this November. Spain will face the Netherlands in the quarterfinal round of the Davis Cup Finals, an eight-team gathering in Malaga, Spain from 19-24 November. The eight countries vying for the 2024 Davis Cup title announced their teams for Final 8, with some of the biggest stars of the game ready for battle to become the right to be crowned the 2024 world champions.

World No.1 Jannik Sinner headlines an Italian team bidding to become the first nation to defend its title since the Czech Republic in 2012-13, while all eyes will be on Spain, with Nadal and Alcaraz. It will be the first outing of the year for Nadal, who has not played since the Paris Olympics after withdrawing from the US Open and Laver Cup due to ongoing health problems.

Alcaraz has captured two of the four Grand Slam titles this season-the French Open and Wimbledon. Italy's quarterfinal opponents Argentina are similarly at full strength, with Sebastian Baez and Francisco Cerundolo alongside Tomas Martin Etcheverry giving captain Guillermo Coria a number of different options in the singles.

The two most successful nations in the history of the Davis Cup are facing across the net from the USA to Australia. They will have three top-20 singles players represented in Malaga this week. American US Open runner-up will go with Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, and Ben Shelton, while Australia goes with Montreal champion Alexei Popyrin as its team head.

Our neighbors across the border will be pitted against Canada in the bottom half of the draw, as the Germans-also seeking a fourth Davis Cup title-will this time around be headed by Jan-Lennard Struff. Canada has retained the same lineup that won the 2022 championship with Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov leading the pack.

Spain, who have also included such a wealth of experience as Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreño Busta, and Marcelo Granollers in their squad,, are through to the last eight against the Netherlands. The rest of the Dutch squad are spearheaded by Tallon Griekspoor and Botic van de Zandschulp.
