New Delhi, Aug 1 — Unified Payments Interface transaction volumes rose 22 per cent year-on-year to 23.66 billion in July, while the total value of transactions increased 19 per cent to Rs 29.88 lakh crore, according to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India on Saturday.

On an average daily basis, UPI processed around 763 million transactions in July, with the average daily value standing at approximately Rs 96,383 crore.

In June, UPI transaction volumes had risen 23 per cent year-on-year to 22.72 billion, with value growing 20 per cent to Rs 28.92 lakh crore. Average daily volumes that month stood at about 757 million transactions, with an average daily value of roughly Rs 96,405 crore.
