34 vehicle manufacturers will participate in the Auto Expo at Bharat Mobility 2025
Bharat Mobility 2025: Auto Expo is organized every two years in India to showcase new cars with new technology features. It will also be organized in the year 2025 under Bharat Mobility 2025. The upcoming edition of the Auto Expo will see the participation of 34 automakers, the largest number ever since the first edition of the flagship event in 1986. The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in partnership with ACMA and CII will organise the 17th edition of Auto Expo, 'The Motor Show', at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 from January 17-22 at Bharat Mandapam. "Around 34 automakers will take part in the exhibition and display many powertrain-related technologies," SIAM Director General Rajesh Menon told PTI. This is the highest-ever participation in the history of the event, he said. Automakers that will take part in the event include Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Hyundai Motor India, Kia Motor India, JSW MG Motor, and Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, he said. The event will also be used by other luxury carmakers like BMW, Mercedes, Porsche Indi, and BYD to showcase their products. As far as the two-wheeler segment is concerned, the big names that would be participating in the event are TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Suzuki Motorcycle, and India Yamaha. Similarly, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Ashok Leyland, JBM, and Cummins India will also participate in the event. Menon said some pure EV companies such as Ather Energy, TI Clean Mobility, Eka Mobility, Ola Electric, and Vinfast will also participate in the Auto Expo this time.
While the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 will be held from January 17-22 next year at Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre) Dwarka and India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, the previous edition of the Auto Expo was held from January 11-18, 2023 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The inaugural India Mobility Global Expo 2024 was held from February 1-3.
