It seems that the Redmi A7 is going to hit the markets soon, probably alongside the Redmi A7 Pro. The Redmi A7 has reportedly obtained certification from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand. The Redmi smartphone's specs are expected to be similar to the specs of the upcoming Poco C81 Pro. The new information about the Redmi A7 was revealed just a few days after the Redmi A7 Pro was spotted on the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website. The Redmi A7 might feature a 6.9-inch screen and use the Unisoc T7250 processor. The Redmi A series phones are released at very affordable prices, and the Redmi A7 will probably not cost much.

The upcoming Redmi A7 has appeared on the NBTC website with the model number 26020RNB4A and certification number B38097-26. The listing confirms the phone's correct name and reveals that it supports GSM, WCDMA, and LTE networks, indicating the lack of 5G connectivity.

According to the NBTC listing, the Redmi A7 is made in China. The entry doesn't provide any other specifications, but it certainly suggests a phone launch imminent.

The Redmi A7 is said to be similar to the Poco C81 Pro, which was recently spotted on the NBTC website with the model number 25128PC17G and certification number B38077-26. It could be an upgrade over the Redmi A5.

The Redmi A7 is said to be a budget phone featuring a 6.9-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could feature a Unisoc T7250 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It is also said to have a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.

The Redmi A7's appearance on the NBTC website comes just days after the Redmi A7 Pro was spotted on multiple certification platforms, including TDRA, FCC, NBTC, and Indonesia's SDPPI database. These developments indicate an imminent official launch. The standard Redmi A7 is expected to launch alongside the Pro variant.
