BMW R20 Concept roadster unveiled; 2000 CC engine will turn heads

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the concept of a new motorcycle, the R20. It will be displayed at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The highlight of the R20 concept is its craftsmanship and big boxer engine. The R20 concept looks like a cafe racer or bobber. However, the company is calling it a roadster. It is not yet confirmed whether the production version of the R20 concept will be launched or not. Come, let us know about it.

The motorcycle has a newly designed fuel tank that is painted in the "Hotter Than Pink" color, which is reminiscent of the 1970s. The paralever strut, footrest system, and ISR brake calipers are finished in gunmetal, while the cylinder head cover, belt cover, and air intake funnel are composed of polished and anodized aluminum.

The R20 concept motorcycle has a single seat, and BMW finished the seat with fine-grain leather and quilted black Alcantara. The rear LED tail lamp is integrated into the seat itself. The LED headlamps have an aluminum ring made of 3D printing and LED daytime running lamps.

Its chassis has been completely redeveloped and now features a black double-loop main frame made of chrome-molybdenum steel tube, which forms the backbone. There is a 17-inch spoke wheel at the front and a 17-inch black disc wheel at the rear. The rear tire measures 200/55 while the front is 120/70.

The highlight of the BMW R20 Concept is the air-oil-cooled Big Boxer engine with a capacity of 2000 cc. For the concept bike, a new cylinder head cover, a new belt cover, and a new oil cooler have been developed to partially hide the oil pipes. It has twin megaphone exhaust pipes, which are beautifully crafted.
