While Apple has been planning to make major changes in its lineup of Apple Watches by the end of this year, new models include the Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the Apple Watch SE 3 will feature a new look, in which a plastic body may be used.

Gurman didn't say much about the new Apple Watch SE just that it will boast an entirely new design. The original SE model that debuted in 2020 was based on the chassis of the 2018 Apple Watch Series 4. This time around, the design of the SE can be similar to the Apple Watch Series 7 of 2021 or it can offer a completely new design.

According to previous reports, Apple may use a plastic body in the SE model, which will allow this model to be available in many colors. In September 2023, Gurman said that the Apple Watch SE 3 may have a colorful design on the back, which will be reminiscent of the colored plastic case of the iPhone 5C.

According to Gurman, there will not be much change in the design of these models. The look of Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 will remain similar to the existing models, but some new and exciting features will be added to them.

Ultra 3 could feature satellite connectivity and support up to 5G RedCap, thus cementing its position more in extending reach.

Blood pressure detection: Blood pressure may also be available on both models, but it's still more of an alert feature in case of risks of hypertension, not a real reading. It will work just like Apple's sleep apnea detection feature.
