Andhra Pradesh: Muslim devotee expressed desire for Srivari Seva, TTD assured to explore the possibility

In Tirupati, Muslim devotees' faith is generating headlines once more. Hussain Bhasha, a Muslim devotee from Naidupeta, has indicated that he would like to serve at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, including doing puja. The temple body has stated that an assessment of the likelihood of him being given an opportunity will be made shortly.

Meanwhile, AV Dharma Reddy, the TTD Executive Officer (EO), has responded. He has stated that despite practising different religions, he finds it extremely encouraging to witness the devotion of Muslim followers of Sri Venkateswara. Reddy claims that in response to devotee Hussain's language during the monthly "Dial Your EO" event, a large number of devotees from various religions are making donations to the deity.

Hussain Bhasha has been assured by the EO, though, that his requests will be granted. Notably, Shriwari Seva is a voluntary service that was established in 2000 to offer improved services to pilgrims travelling from far-flung regions of the nation and the globe.

The services of Srivari Sevakulu (providers of Srivari Seva) are provided in more than 60 sectors of TTD, such as vigilance, health, annaprasadam, gardens, medical, laddu prasadam (sacred food), temples, transport, kalyanakatta, book stalls and others. Let us tell you that TTD is the official custodian of Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati.
