The new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift features a 1.0-litre motor tuned to produce 71 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is now paired with a 5-speed AMT unit which will be available with the 5-speed manual variant.

Nissan Motor India has announced that the Magnite AMT can be purchased at an introductory price till November 30, 2023. Customers will be able to book the new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) at a starting price of Rs 6.50 lakh.

Its delivery may start at the end of this year. The new Magnite AMT is available with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Come, let us know about it.

The new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift features a 1.0-litre motor tuned to produce 71 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is now paired with a 5-speed AMT unit, which will be available with the 5-speed manual variant. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.35 kmpl for the manual and 19.70 kmpl for the AMT.

Magnite AT comes with dual driving mode, intelligent creep function, and anti-stall and kick-down features. Its automatic version will be available in the XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium variants as well as the recently launched Magnite Kuro Special Edition. The automaker has also introduced a new dual-tone blue and black color on the AMT.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Magnite 1.0-litre turbo petrol will continue to be available with 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. Magnite is popular for its feature-rich cabin and spacious interiors. The car has also received a 4-star safety rating by ASEAN NCAP.

The subcompact SUV is also quite popular overseas and is exported from India to 15 global markets including Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei. Nissan India's primary export markets now also include Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
