After winning the T20 World Cup 2024, there is a huge update on the return of the Indian team that was trapped in Barbados due to Hurricane Storm. The team's return to India timetable has once again changed. The BCCI has scheduled a special jet to convey the squad back to India from Barbados. This flight will also transport approximately 22 Indian sports journalists, although the departure time will be delayed due to the hurricane. This flight is now expected to arrive in New Delhi at about 6 a.m. on Thursday (Indian time).

According to the information, the special flight of the Indian team will land in New Delhi at 6 am on Thursday. In fact, the T20 World Cup winning team, along with its support staff, several BCCI officials, and the families of the players, is stuck in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. The team was earlier scheduled to leave Barbados at 11 am (IST) local time on Monday, but it was delayed due to the storm.

The Indian team's special flight is expected to reach Delhi directly from Bridgetown. After reaching here, the team will be given a grand welcome and a roadshow will also be organized. Not only this, the players will also be honored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, there is no confirmation of the program yet.
