With Google's feature, now there will be no problem in identifying AI photos
Google Photos: According to a report by Android Authority, a new feature in the Google Photos app will soon give users information about the digital source of any image in their gallery. This feature was seen in version 7.3 of the Google Photos app, although it is not active yet.

There is a google news for everyone using Google Photos. Google Photos is soon going to introduce its new upcoming feature, though which users will easily be able to identify whether pictures are created by AI or not. In simple words, Google Photos itself will tell you whether an image is AI or not. The report said new ID tags were being added to the photo and video sharing and storage service that would give details on AI information and the digital source of the image. It is believed that Google is working on this feature in an aim to prevent deepfakes.
Deepfakes are a relatively new form of digital manipulation that has emerged during the past years. Deepfakes can be understood as photos, videos, audio, or other types of media which have been digitally created or edited with the use of AI in order to mislead people or spread misinformation.
For example, currently, actor Amitabh Bachchan has filed a civil suit against an owner of the company that used him in deepfake video ads for promoting some of its products. According to a report by Android Authority, a new feature in the Google Photos app will soon inform users about the digital source of any image present in their gallery.
