In India, Volkswagen offers three automobiles for sale. This comprises the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus models. The company reportedly intends to introduce the Facelift Version of two of these vehicles into the Indian market.
The company hasn't released any official information about this yet. However, the business is reportedly getting ready to release the Taigun and Virtus Facelift versions. Taigun is available in the mid-size SUV market, whereas Virtus is available in the mid-size sedan car segment.
As per Jagran, the company will be able to release the facelifted versions of both of these vehicles by 2026. Wherein a lot of adjustments can be available. However, they have very little chance of changing their engine.
The research indicates that the company will mostly modify the appearance of these two vehicles. These modifications may involve making adjustments to the front grille, back profile lights, and interior design. In addition to this, the business may add features like ADAS to each of these automobiles, which would give them a little more functionality than what is now offered.
It was announced a while back that by 2028, Volkswagen would only sell electric cars. However, the business has now altered its approach as a result of the recent drop in EV vehicle sales. After that, it was announced that two cars’ facelift versions will now be available for purchase.
