Vivo Y300 and Vivo Y300 Pro were launched in September and December 2024 in China. Last month, the company launched the Vivo Y300 Pro + and Vivo Y300t models in the country. Now the company has revealed the launch date of Vivo Y300 GT, along with its design and key features of the upcoming device. According to the details provided by the company, the phone may be a re-branded model of the newly launched iQOO Z10 Turbo and its Pro variant.

The company announced in a Weibo post that the Vivo Y300 GT will be launched in China on May 9 at 10 am local time (7:30 pm IST). It has been called a 'durable audio-visual trio'. The promotional image shows the phone in black and champagne gold colors. The design of the Vivo Y300 GT is similar to the iQOO Z10 Turbo series handsets, which were launched in China on Monday. The top left corner of the rear panel has a 'square' camera module with two camera sensors and a ring-like LED flash unit. The power button and volume rocker are on the right edge.

A teaser image on the TMall product page shows that the Vivo Y300 GT will have a flat display, with thin bezels, a slightly thicker chin, and a hole-punch cutout at the top center. The listing reveals that the handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor and a 7,620mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging.

The major features suggest that the upcoming Vivo Y300 GT will be similar to the base iQOO Z10 Turbo model. If this turns out to be true, then this successor to the Vivo Y200 GT could come with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main rear sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. It could feature a 6.78-inch 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED screen with SGS Low Blue Light and Low Flicker certifications.
