Bollywood debut with Salman Khan
Ayesha, who made her acting debut in the nineties with the Telugu film Neti Siddhartha, started her career in Hindi films with Salman Khan's 1991 Kurban. Ayesha paired up with Akshay Kumar for the first time in 1992's Khiladi. The film directed by Abbas Mustan was a big hit. Akshay got the player tag after this film, then Ayesha got the first step towards big success.
Appeared in 10 films in a year
During that era, Ayesha did films with almost every big rising star who has the status of a superstar today. After Salman and Akshay, Ayesha was seen in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar opposite Aamir Khan. This film was a hit. Ayesha remained very busy for the next few years. He had 10 films released in 1993 itself, out of which Dalal with Mithun Chakraborty and Waqt Hamara Hai with Akshay were hit.
Hush Hush to debut on OTT
With the beginning of the new century, Ayesha's film career started going down and her presence on the screen started declining. Ayesha was seen in only a few films due to the increase in family responsibilities and the reduction of desired characters. After 2010, Ayesha took a long break of 8 years and returned with Anil Sharma's film Genius in 2018 and will now be seen in Hush Hush.
The trailer of the series will be released on Tuesday. It is an all-women series, from the main cast to the crew, all women. Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Kritika Kamra, and Shahana Goswami will be seen in the lead roles.
