Currently, WhatsApp is developing a second new security feature. Users of WhatsApp on desktop devices will also be able to lock chats following the release of this new feature. The mobile app version already has the chat lock feature.
According to one of WABetaInfo's reports, WhatsApp is developing a chat lock feature for the desktop version. In the beta version, the new feature is visible. You can see this feature if you are also a beta user.
The WhatsApp Web beta version displays the chat lock icon. Apart from this, a private folder will also be available with the new update, that is, you will be able to keep any of your special or secret chats in that folder.
