Vaibhav Suryavanshi Reveals His Wimbledon Experience, Names Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal as His Tennis Idols
Wimbledon: Indian cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi enjoyed the final match on Wimbledon's Centre Court for the first time with Yuvraj, Abhishek, and Sanju Samson. He described Novak Djokovic as his idol and chose his opening partner Abhishek Sharma as his tennis doubles partner.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, an upcoming young player in Indian cricket, made his debut visit to the legendary Centre Court at Wimbledon. Yuvraj Singh, former great all-rounder, along with the other Indian T20 cricketers Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson, accompanied Vaibhav. The new sensation of Indian cricket, Vaibhav, relished his visit to the famous All England Club.
Vaibhav shared his experience of visiting this historic sports ground for the first time. Vaibhav told Geo Star, "I came to watch the Wimbledon men's singles final match." I wanted to see what it's like to watch a live tennis match and how players perform under the immense pressure of a final. It was a great experience for me.
Revealing his interest in tennis, the young cricketer said he has been following the sport closely for the past four or five years. He named Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic as his favorite players, whom he has been watching since childhood. Vaibhav said, "I used to watch Nadal and Djokovic a lot. I like Djokovic very much, but these are the two players I have followed the most."
