Skoda's cheapest SUV Kylaq can be introduced in November, will challenge Sonet, Venue, 3XO

According to media reports, Skoda Kylaq can be introduced in the Indian market in the month of November. However, the company has not yet officially informed about it. But it is expected that preparations are being made to present it on November 6.

The Skoda Kylaq SUV is currently being tested prior to its launch. It was spotted near Pune during testing some time ago.

Some features have been observed in the unit during testing. This includes features like a single pan sunroof, roof rail, and shark fin antenna. However, some additional features can be added or removed in its other variants.

The design of the unit seen during testing will be similar to the company's other SUVs. Kylaq can be designed similarly to the Skoda Kushak. It is also possible to have an angular tail lamp design. However, the company has yet to make any information about this vehicle public, other than its name.

According to reports, like other cars, a one-liter engine can be given in it. In which a turbo engine with three cylinders will be given. Also, manual and automatic transmissions can be given.

Kylaq will be brought by Skoda in the compact SUV segment. In this segment, Skoda Kylaq will compete directly with SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Tata Nexon.

This vehicle may be introduced in November. But it can be officially launched in January 2025 during Bharat Mobility. Its possible price at the time of launch can be around Rs 7.50 to 8 lakh.
