Scam Alert: Alam suffered a total loss of $3000 i.e. around Rs 2.5 lakh. After this incident, Alam has advised people not to fall prey to any kind of job offer. Do not click on any suspicious links. Apart from this, keep double security with your digital wallet also.
Most of the people in the country are becoming victims of fraud in search of jobs. Every day people are being cheated in the name of a part-time job. Now a social media user has claimed that he had received a web link from HR for an interview, after clicking on which, Rs 2.5 lakh was withdrawn from his account. Let us know the whole matter….
A user with the handle @crankybugatti on X has claimed that he met the HR of a company on the app named @SocialSpectra. A basic interview also took place which was positive. Alam was then asked to attend the HR call and for this, he was also given a link to an online meeting.
Alam's computer downloaded the "Call" app, which also contained malware, after clicking the link. Alam's digital wallet had money taken out by this malware. Alam claims that cybercriminals have destroyed KaminoFinance's assets in addition to his Phantom Wallet.
Alam lost a total of $3000, or roughly Rs 2.5 lakh. Alam has cautioned people against accepting any kind of job offer in the wake of this occurrence. Never click on any shady links. In addition, use double security with your digital wallet.
