In the event of Galaxy Unpacked 2024, Samsung has taken the wraps off the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It has introduced a plethora of Galaxy AI features on both these phones. Other than this, Google's Circle to Search feature and Gemini AI have also been given in all these phones. In that respect, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 are equipped with a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It has promised to offer seven years of updates to Android OS and security for the two phones: Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 from Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will also come in Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow colors, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is going to be available in Blue, Mint, Silver, Shadow, and Yellow colors. Pre-booking on the phone has commenced. Both phones will go on sale from July 24. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes at a price of Rs 1,09,999 for its 12 GB RAM variant with 256 GB storage and at a price of Rs 1,21,999 for the 12 GB RAM variant with 512 GB storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage costs Rs 1,64,999, the 512 GB storage at Rs 1,76,999, and the 1 TB storage limited edition available in a single variant, it spirals to Rs. 2,00,999 in Silver Shadow.

Then, with dual-SIM support, it will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Other than this, the phone shall clock up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage paired with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Other than this, it also features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display. The refresh rate display on the phone is 120Hz.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has three rear cameras wherein the primary lens is 50 megapixels with dual-pixel autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS). The second lens is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle while the third one stands as a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. A 10-megapixel camera will be available for selfies. The inside display has a 4-megapixel camera for selfies.

Out-of-the-box, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will pack 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a battery with 4400mAh capacity that supports up to 25W fast charging, Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless Power Share. Additionally, it has an IP48 rating and weighs 239 grams. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, in contrast, is going to run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 with dual SIM. Other than this, the phone will get up to 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a cover display that is an inch larger, at 3.4-inch Super AMOLED with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The second display is a 6.7-inch Full HD + Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has provided a dual rear camera setup in which the primary lens is given as a 50-megapixel wide angle. Autofocus and OIS will also be available with this. The second one is of 12 megapixels ultra-wide angle. A 10-megapixel selfie camera has been provided on the inner screen.
