Royal Enfield is ready to introduce many new products inside the Indian market. The company is working on new motorcycles, which will be launched in the near future. Moving forward in this episode, Royal Enfield has filed a patent for Bullet 650. Apart from this, the company is also filing design patents and nameplate patents.

Royal Enfield has filed a nameplate trademark in the name of Bullet 650 Twin. It is going to be the cheapest 650 cc motorcycle in the Indian market. It will sit below the Classic 650 Twin, whose nameplate trademark filing was done fairly recently. Though for now, no launch timeline has been revealed, it can certainly be expected that Royal Enfield will come out with the Bullet 650 later this year.

The platform used will be the Shotgun 650, but some key changes are to be made in order to reduce the motorcycle's price. It uses telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

It's going to be an LED unit at the headlamp, something that Royal Enfield motorcycles have used recently. if it is noticed, it wasn't really bright and was sufficient for city rides only. This forms the reason people use the accessories being offered by the brand.

Some of its variants are endowed with a cowl that runs around the headlamp, which is a design element common with 350cc motorcycles from Royal Enfield. In addition to that, this motorbike has been fitted with standard halogen pilot lights. The turnout indicators come fitted with standard halogen bulbs along with orange lenses.

The engine remains the same 648cc unit. It will still be an air-oil-cooled parallel-twin unit, though it will get a redesigned exhaust. One can safely assume it to be similar to that of Bullet 350. Fenders come with spoke rims and tube-type tyres, where one has to do a lot to repair a puncture.
