Pro Kabaddi 2025: Telugu Titans Stun Jaipur Pink Panthers 37-32 for First Win of Season

Finally, Hosts Telugu Titans have won after two consecutive defeats at home. The Titans defeated two-time champions Jaipur Pink Panthers by a margin of 37-3 in their third match of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) played at Vishwanath Sports Club Stadium on Thursday.

Captain Vijay Malik (8) and Bharat (8) along with Chetan Sahu (5) and Ajit Pawar (5) in defence played a vital role in Titans' victory. Titans' defence played brilliantly and made Nitin Dhankar's (13) brilliant effort look second. Jaipur has suffered its first defeat in two matches.

In the first five minutes of the game, there was a good competition between the two teams. Titans had taken a 3-2 lead. Titans scored three points on Bharat's raid and took a 6-3 lead. Super tackle was on for Jaipur and then Ankit caught Nitin and took the lead to 4 but Reza and Nitin ensured Jaipur's comeback by super tackling Bharat. After 10 minutes, the score was in favour of Titans at 7-5.

After the break, Ajit dashed Samadhi and limited Jaipur to two players and then took an all-out and took a 12-5 lead. After the all-in, both the teams kept struggling for points but even after four minutes, Titans did not get any success other than bonus. After this, Sahil got two points for Jaipur by getting Ankit and Shubham out but Titans kept the gap of seven points by getting two consecutive points after that.

In the 20th minute, Jaipur's defense caught Bharat and then Titans' defense caught Nitin and increased their lead to 16-9 by halftime. After the break, Jaipur took two points against one and made the gap to 6. Titans' defense caught Sahil and equalized the score. Meanwhile, Samadhi got surrounded by the defense of five but Jaipur's defense caught Bharat and gave a big shock to Titans.

Then Nitin made the gap to 5 with a raid point. Jaipur then took out Vijay Malik and made the score 15-19. Super tackle was on for Titans. Titans caught Samadhi and took advantage of it with two points. After 30 minutes of play, Titans had a lead of 23-16 but Nitin reduced the gap to 5 with a super raid but Bharat put a stop to his comeback with a super raid.

But soon Jaipur pushed Titans towards an all-out. Vijay not only saved the all-out with a two-point raid but also made the score 30-21. However, after this Jaipur took an all-out and made the score 25-31. After the all-in, both teams got one point each and then Nitin made the gap 28-32 with a multi-pointer. Then Jaipur's defense caught Chetan and made the gap 3 and brought excitement to the match.

However, in the situation of super tackle, Titans caught Nitin and almost won the match with a score of 34-29. Samadhi took a point in the last minute but Vijay sealed the victory with a super raid.
