PV Sindhu, the top female badminton player in India, is a serious medal contender for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. With two medals from the previous Olympics, Sindhu is aiming for a hat-trick and is working hard to prepare for it. Players are receiving a great deal of assistance from the Sports Ministry's Mission Olympic Cell in getting ready for the Olympics. As a result, Sindhu will soon travel to Germany to undergo specialized training for roughly a month. Sindhu's request for financial assistance was accepted by MOC on Thursday.

MOC said that Sindhu will go to Germany for training, where she will train at the Hermann-Neuberger Sportsschule in Saarbruchen. A personal coach and support staff will also accompany him. Apart from their travel and transportation, the Ministry will bear all the expenses.

Young shuttler Lakshya Sen, who has qualified for the Olympics for the first time, will train for a month in Paris. A personal coach and support staff will also accompany him.

PV Sindhu continues her stellar performance at the Malaysia Masters as she enters the quarterfinals. Sindhu defeated Korean player Kim Yu Jin 21-13, 12-21, 21-14 in the last-16 match. Now she will face Chinese player Han Yu in the last eight.
