Kawasaki has introduced the 2025 model of its highly popular entry-level sport motorcycle Ninja 300 in India. The company has set the ex-showroom price for the bike at less than Rs 3.5 lakh. This introduction follows Kawasaki's recent launch of the MY25 Versys-X 300. Production of the new 2025 model of the Ninja 300 will commence in the first week of June 2025. This bike has been present in the Indian market since 2013 and continues to be a favorite of people.

The look of the 2025 Ninja 300 motorcycle has been kept the same as before, but some important and attractive changes have been made to it. Now it has a projector headlight inspired by the ZX-6R, which gives the bike a more aggressive look. Also, a large floating windscreen like the ZX-10R has also been added, which improves aerodynamics and riding experience. Apart from this, the tread pattern of the tires has also been updated, so that road grip and stability are stronger. This time the bike will be available in three new color options - R-Inspired Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Gray.

Talking about its engine, it has the same 295 cc parallel-twin engine as before, which generates 38.8 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch feature. Due to which gear shifting remains smooth and under control.

The new 2025 Ninja 300 motorcycle is built on a tubular diamond-type frame in which the engine is used as a structural member. It has 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear, which provides 120 mm and 132 mm travel, respectively. For braking, it has 290 mm petal disc brakes at the front and 220 mm at the rear. Along with this, there is also dual-channel ABS, which provides both safety and control.

Kawasaki has started manufacturing many parts of the Ninja 300 locally in India. Due to which the company is able to keep its price under control. Interestingly, its current price is even less than the CBU unit launched in 2013, which was priced at Rs 3.5 lakh. With this price, this bike still maintains its place in the entry-level sports bike segment. In the Indian market, this motorcycle competes with bikes like Aprilia RS 457, KTM RC 390, and Yamaha R3.
