Honda CD 110 Dream motorcycle discontinued after 11 years; Know the reason
Honda CD 110 Dream: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has officially discontinued its budget segment popular motorcycle CD 110 Dream. Which is one of its most affordable entry-level commuter motorcycles.

Honda Motorbike and Scooter India (HMSI) officially phased out its mass-market popular bike CD 110 Dream. The motorcycle is one of its most affordable entry-level commuting bikes. Now, after being in the market for nearly 11 years, the ride of this bike is complete. But this does not signify that Honda is withdrawing from the commuting segment, as the company's Shine 100 motorcycle is also available in the market.
Even with the affordable price tag and basic specifications, the CD 110 Dream has failed to garner many customers over the last few years. Its sales were 8,511 units in October 2024, but it declined to 33 units in the month of March 2025. It was in such a scenario that Honda decided to take this model out of its line-up altogether.
The bike was equipped with a 109.51cc air-cooled engine that delivered 8.6 bhp of power and 9.3 Nm of torque. It came with a 4-speed gearbox, and the engine was developed as per the standards of OBD2 emission and E20 fuel.
It was given a two-way engine start/stop switch and Combi-Brake System (CBS), which improved braking. The bike was given 5-spoke silver alloy wheels, diamond-type frame, telescopic front fork, twin shock absorbers at the rear, and drum brakes on both wheels. Its 720mm long seat was comfortable for both rider and pillion, and it also had a 4Ah maintenance-free battery.
Honda's another bike Shine 100 played a big role in leaving CD 110 Dream behind. The price of Shine 100 is around Rs 10,000 cheaper than CD 110 Dream and customers thought it better to choose the more affordable bike. Shine 100 has a 98.98cc engine, which gives 5.3 bhp power and 8.05 Nm torque. It has 17-inch alloy wheels, 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brakes. Its ex-showroom Delhi price is around Rs 62 thousand.
