Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and co-conveners Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were released on Sunday by a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court in Delhi Cantonment, a day after being detained at Delhi airport.
Delhi Police said the three had been placed under preventive arrest under Sections 126 and 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) on October 10. “All due legal procedures were followed,” police said, adding that a surety bond of ₹50,000 was filled “for maintaining peace and good behaviour, for a period of one year.”
CJP’s legal affairs head Ratna Singh confirmed the release.
