AAIB chief probing Ahmedabad plane crash gets CRPF security; Know reason behind this step
The central government has provided CRPF's X category security to GVG Yugandhar, the head of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB). This decision has come into effect from June 16, at a time when the AAIB is investigating the Air India Boeing Dreamliner plane crash in Ahmedabad. 241 passengers lost their lives in this accident.

The central government has given the Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) X category security to GVG Yugandhar, chief of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
According to Jagran sources, the new arrangement has come into effect from June 16. This step has been taken at a time when the AAIB is probing the Air India Boeing Dreamliner plane crash that took place in Ahmedabad on June 12.
241 of the 242 passengers, including crew members, died in the crash. Besides that, 34 others also died from the crash. The investigation team is conducting an in-depth analysis of the details received from the crashed aircraft's black box at the AAIB laboratory in New Delhi.
