After their embarrassing loss in the Rajkot Test, the England team has come under heavy fire from former captain Nasir Hussain. Hussain has also voiced his discontent with the remarks made by English opener Ben Duckett, who linked Yashasvi Jaiswal's aggressive batting to the English team's "baseball" approach.

In Duckett's statement, the former England captain said that instead of saying that India has learned from him, they can learn from him how to win Test matches. He said, 'Duckett's comment on Yashasvi that he has learned aggressive batting from us, I am going to talk about that. They didn't learn from you, they learned from their upbringing. He has worked hard in life and has learned batting from IPL.

Nasir said, 'Whatever the England players are saying publicly and in the dressing room, I hope they look inward a little bit. He should be with the attitude that I will love Yashasvi and learn something from him. Otherwise, he will start thinking of himself as great. Many times baseball is described as something that you cannot criticize. But I think that even with this current strategy, there is room for learning and improvement in the England team.

Praising Sarfaraz and Jaiswal, Nasir further said, 'A few weeks ago, India might have looked weak without Virat Kohli and KL Rahul but this shows the depth in their batting. Jaiswal is a fantastic story. I have roamed those grounds of Mumbai and seen the talent there. This is where he started and rose to the top with hunger and desire. He is also hungry for big runs."
