Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR launched in Indian market, know the price and features
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is positioned above the Ninja ZX-4R and is being brought to India in limited numbers as a Complete Built Unit (CBU). Braking performance comes from a 290mm dual semi-floating disc at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has been one of the most awaited upcoming bikes in India.
After releasing the teaser earlier this month, India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has launched the new Ninja ZX-4RR in the country. It is priced at Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has a 4-cylinder motor and is a proper pocket rocket.
Talking about the design, the Ninja ZX-4RR looks aggressive and like a sports bike in every way. It features a split LED headlight and a sharp front profile, similar to the current Ninja ZX-6R. Kawasaki is offering the new Ninja ZX-4RR in a single paint scheme of Lime Green.
A limited number of Complete Built Units (CBUs) of the new Ninja ZX-4RR, which sits above the ZX-4R, are being imported into India. With a 399 cc liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 37.6 Nm of peak torque at 13,000 rpm and 76 horsepower at 14,500 rpm, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is one of the most anticipated bikes in India. An eight-speed gearbox and a two-way quick shifter are mated to the engine.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR's curb weight is a mere 189 kg. Among the hardware components are 37mm USD. Preload-adjustable Showa BFRC Lite monoshock absorbs shocks at the back, while Showa SFF-BP front forks accommodate preload adjustments.
Braking performance comes from 290mm dual semi-floating discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. Other features of this bike include a 4.3-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, 4 riding modes, and all-LED lighting. The Ninja ZX-4RR has no direct rivals in the Indian market.
