Hyundai sold over 64000 vehicles in September 2024, CNG model increased by 13.8%
Hyundai sales in India: Hyundai Motor India has sold 64201 vehicles for September 2024. Out of this, the number of domestic sales is 51101 units and the number of vehicles exported is 13100 units. With this, the company has achieved a total wholesale sale of 577711 units in 2024. With this sale, the company remains at number two.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), a leading Indian vehicle manufacturer, has declared the sales performance of the company for the month of September 2024. The total sales of the company stand at 64,201 vehicles for September 2024, including both domestic and export numbers. The total vehicle sales of Hyundai Motor have decreased compared to last year, despite the launch of new vehicles and expansion in its SUV segment.
There has been a high demand for Hyundai's CNG-powered vehicles. Their total sales in September 2024 were 13.8 percent. Hyundai Exter and Grand i10 Nios have been sold the most in this segment. Besides this, Hyundai Creta, Venue, and Exter have given 70 percent of the company's total sales in September 2024.
Coming to domestic sales of Hyundai in September 2024, 51,101 were sold, a decline of 5.79% over September 2023. Last year, 54,241 vehicles were sold. Hyundai has managed to retain the second position in vehicle sales. In terms of exports, there has been a decline. Till September 2024, 13,100 units were shipped, while 17,400 units were shipped in the same month last year in 2023, that is, there has been a decline in exports by 24.71%.
At the quarterly level, both domestic and export sectors have seen a decline in sales on the part of Hyundai. It sold 1,91,939 units during the quarter 2024 against 2,09,777 units in the year 2023, recording a decline of 8.50%. Along with that, domestic sales declined by 5.75% while exports fell by 17.07%.
