Google has made a doodle today, i.e., 25 October to remember Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, who drove millions crazy with his melodious voice. Google Doodle today fell tribute to late singer KK who began his career as a playback singer with the song "Chhod Aaye Hum" from the film Matchstick on this day in the year 1996.

KK was born on 23 August 1968 in Delhi. He attended Kirorimal College, University of Delhi, and initially worked in marketing, but later he came completely into the field of music. In 1994, he sent demo tapes to several Indian artists, which gave him the opportunity to sing ads jingles for the first time.

KK's official inauguration into Hindi films was with the popular song "Tadap Tadap" in the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999. In that same year, he also released his first album "Pal", which contained many hit songs that placed him in the limelight overnight. Besides Hindi, KK has sung songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati films as well.
