Supreme Court: A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the farmers' protest. In this petition, a demand has been made to give instructions to immediately remove the blockage of national and state highways in Punjab.

Farmers are standing on the Shambhu border in Delhi. At the same time, the Supreme Court will hear the matter of the farmers' protest tomorrow i.e. on Monday. Actually, a PIL was filed in the Supreme Court regarding the farmers' protest. In this petition, a demand has been made to give instructions to open national and state highways in Punjab-Haryana.

It has been stated that at various places in the state, illegal encroachment and obstruction have been carried out by the alleged farmers and farmer unions. It has been done against the fundamental rights of the people. Also, this is a crime under BNS. Therefore, the States of Punjab and Haryana, and the Central Govt are under obligation to remove these farmers from the Highway. Along with this, the instructions are sought to make sure that no national highway and railway track is blocked by the agitating farmers.

The PIL has sought directions that the states and the central government should ensure smooth passage for the general public. The Supreme Court will hear this petition on December 9.
