Now Delhi's next match will be against host Kolkata Knight Riders on April 29 at Eden Garden. But, before this match, DC has suffered a double blow. DC's star opener David Warner and star fast bowler Ishant Sharma will not be able to play against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 29 due to injury. The team's assistant coach Praveen Amre has confirmed this.

Assistant coach Praveen Amre gave a big update on the players' injuries after Delhi's win against Mumbai Indians. He said that David Warner and Ishant Sharma are expected to recover in a week. Both the players will not be available for the match against KKR on Monday. He said that David Warner will not be able to play due to a thumb injury while Ishant Sharma is suffering from back spasms.

The Delhi Capitals gave an outstanding performance on Saturday. DC made 257 runs on the scoreboard after losing the toss and choosing to bat first, thanks to the innings of Shai Hope (41 runs), Stubbs (48 runs), and Jake Fraser McGurk (84 runs). The Mumbai Indians team was only able to muster 247 runs in the allotted 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Delhi won spectacularly by a margin of 10 runs in this manner.
